Jenny Massingham
Kindermusik Educator / Director Lifesong
"Jenny's interest in music began at an early age. At 5 years old, she joined the Sydney Juniors Talent Group and has been singing and performing every since. In her school years, she studied piano and violin as well as singing and after leaving school taught the piano privately for over 15 years. She sang in rock bands, performed in a variety of venues and helped co-ordinate the Macquarie University Theatre Group. She worked professionally doing pub th
eatre and was a part of the troupe that formed an early version of Radio station 2DayFM's The Morning Crew.
After having her children in the late 90s Jenny resumed her studies of music and is currently completing her Associate Diploma in Music Theory. She also developed a passion for sharing music with children. She has been teaching Kindermusik with Lifesong and other Kindermusik programs since early 2005.
Jenny brings to her Kindermusik classes a joy of music and a great sense of fun.
"I love teaching the Kindermusik curriculum. It includes music from all over the world and is a great learning opportunity for children and their carers as well as a chance to have a lot of fun with music!"
Fiona McVicar
Kindermusik Educator

Fiona is an experienced musician having studied viola, violin and piano to a high level during her school years at the NSW Conservatorium of Music. She is also a leading Irish fiddle player and has long been an integral part of the Irish music scene in Sydney. Fiona has also played in rock bands, performed at folk festivals and folkclubs, collaborated on a number of recordings and currently plays viola with the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
After having her own children Fiona became passionate about childrens’ music education and decided to find a new career path to share the joy and enrichment that music can bring to the lives of families. In Kindermusik she found the perfect way to introduce music to young children and their parents. Fiona also teaches violin, fiddle and piano privately.
Fiona has two little girls aged 4 and 2 who both love to sing and dance around the house which is simply a delight to behold!
I hope you enjoy watching your child learn and develop through Kindermusik just as I have done".
Cliona Molins

“6 years of teaching Kindermusik has been a real JOY. My students bring such freshess to each activity. I love to watch these little personalities develop at so many different levels. The seeds that we sow in early childhood should never be underestimated.”
In 2010 she collaborated with singer Wendy Twibill and violinist Fiona McVicar to produce a Harp Lullaby CD called Golden Apple Lullabies.
Cliona still consults to Lifesong.
